The field for arranging music is as diverse as it is omnipresent. Actually every song accompaniment is an arrangement and very ensemble, from a recorder duet to a full orchestera, needs arrangements as soon as they want or need to adapt a given score to their needs.
In addition on considerating the compositional context, the arrangement should be adapted both to the instruments and to the technical limits of the performer.
What sounds natural proves to be continuous learning in practice. Although I am not a specialist for a particular style, it is this important experience that I have gained in quite a long row of my own arrangements. I have written for choir, brass and woodwind, strings, harp and piano (in various combinations). Working techniques with the computer play a central role. Would you like to learn in this area or be supported in your own project? I am curious and happy to help.
